An homage to the can-do attitude of architects and designers of the 1950s & 1960s, when the American and specifically Californian attitude said that man can do anything that he could imagine. Googie architecture reflected a space-age optimism that is being slowly demolished throughout the county as “progress” claims that boomerangs & sputniks are tacky & kitsch.
